about

A Xote (pronounced "SHAW-chee") is a slower slinky kind of dance tune from the Northeast of Brazil. One of the most famous Xotes is Luiz Gonzaga's "Xote das Meninas" which means "Xote for the girls/Xote of the girls."

Because Ted has three little boys he wrote this tune "Xote dos Meninos" or "Xote for the Boys" for his three boys.
