This choro which means "green dress" in Portuguese was written in honor of my wife Cris' infamous green dress that suffered quite a tumultuous night at a wedding we went to in Brazil. The events of the wedding are numerous and hilarious and the subject of a longer story over a beer. Cris bought the dress specifically for the wedding and it was the only time it was ever used (until we convinced her to wear it in her cameo of a music video we made later about the tune). For this reason the dress became synonymous with the many, many wild events which took place at an elaborate wedding at an immense estate in rural Brazil.
