I wrote this tune in December 2017 in anticipation of our album. We wanted a diverse mixture of Brazilian music which really showcased Brazilian's rich musical (and cultural) diversity. Forró music is a fiddly kind of modal music that comes from the Northeast of Brazil and so I set out to write one.

I wrote this on Christmas Day so couldn't help but calling it "Noel"-destino which is a play on the word "Nordestino" i.e. someone from the Northeast (Nordeste).
